VIP Farm Tour This tour is only offered Friday - Sunday, typically lasts 60-90 minutes, and is for groups of 1-8 people. The tour fee is per group, not per person. Climb aboard the CRF tour tram, sit back, and unwind as we navigate down gravel pathways and fenced areas, taking in the stunning scenery as we journey right into the heart of our pastures. Here, you'll get up close and personal with our majestic adult Scottish Highlands, and really have the chance to immerse yourself in their world! Go beyond the fence line, and just taking photos, and engage directly with our shaggy-coated cows as they offer slobbery licks in exchange for the provided cattle treats! When you are ready, we'll make our way back to the barn to encounter the adorable fluffy calves in our weaning field. Here, you’ll have the chance to engage in a range of hands-on interactions, from gently petting and brushing their fluffy coats, to sharing affectionate nose bops, and cow hugs and kisses. Throughout our time together, you'll be able to ask questions, become acquainted with their unique names, charming personalities, and gain a deeper understanding of the breed. You will have every opportunity to embrace your time here and forge a special connection with these adorable creatures. As you bid farewell, expect to carry a bit of the farm with you—a sprinkle of slobber on your pants, a hint of poop on your shoes, and your heart brimming with cherished memories! If you are ready for an unforgettable adventure, all that's left to do book your tour! *Participants must be capable of navigating uneven terrain and be prepared for the occasional farm-related sights and smells. They must also be at least 5 years old, unless they are lap babies or able to be worn in a carrier on an adult over 18. *We can accommodate 12 passengers, but we cannot accommodate more than 8 adults. *The fee is $15 per person, after your initial 8. Please dress accordingly. We cannot control the mood of the animals, therefore there are no guarantees on the level of interaction they will allow. *Please note, we do not have public restrooms*
What You Need To Know
1. This is our personal home / farm and we have no public restrooms. 2. Weaning fields may be light in the summer, but we typically always have calves on the farm. 3. Please park by the black gazebo when you arrive. 4. We do not have public restrooms. 5. Early arrivals are fine, but we may be finishing another tour or project. Feel free to hang out in the black gazebo until we connect. We will meet you there. 6. The tour involves riding on our tour tram, and walking through hilly terrain and gravel pathways. Participants must be at least 5 years old, unless a lap baby, capable of navigating uneven terrain, and prepared for the occasional farm-related sights and smells. The fencing is electric, and will shock you, so be mindful of the wires. 7. On this tour, we will make every effort to make this the best experience for you by letting you feed treats to the cows, interacting with the calves, and taking all the selfies and videos your heart desires (For personal use only, & please no video during business tours). We cannot control the mood of the animals, so no guarantees on the level of interaction they will allow. 8. This is a farm. You’ll likely encounter loud animals, the freshest urine or poop imaginable, slimy slobber, and visual lessons on procreation. Please dress accordingly. 9. These are live animals and can be unpredictable at times. It is very important that every member of your party listen and follow the instructions and directions of the tour guide. If anyone is acting in a way that will create stress, harm, or concern for the animals or other members within your party, the tour guide has the right to stop the tour immediately and you will not be refunded. 10. Cyrus Ridge Farm is not liable for any injury of a participant resulting from the inherent risks of any of the agritourism activities featured on this property. 11. We do not have public restrooms. *We value your time, as well as ours and for this reason our tour fee is non-refundable. However, should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance, and we would be happy to move your payment to another date. Any cancellations, no-shows, or rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice will not be able to transfer payment to another date. We appreciate your business and ask that you respect the farm's policies. We are excited about meeting you and look forward to showing you around our farm!
