Exclusive Self-Guided Tour for Returning Guests! This special tour is available exclusively to guests who have previously booked one of our guided tours. It’s the perfect way to return and reconnect with our beloved animals! Offered daily, this self-guided experience lets you explore at your own pace. Whether you’re looking to share the fun with a friend, bring along family, or simply enjoy a relaxing day out, this tour is for you! Get involved in our calf/cow socialization network, where the cows get the love, and you get a much-needed "soul-ar" recharge. It’s the best kind of therapy, straight from the farm! What to Expect: * You can spend anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes with us. * Groups can range from 1 to 8 people, with the tour fee covering the entire group (not per person). Additional guests over 8 are $15 per person. * For groups of 9 or more, please reach out to us directly at info@cyrusridge.com for booking details. Your Journey: Start with a leisurely stroll down our gravel paths, surrounded by scenic views as you make your way to meet our Scottish Highland cattle. You’ll have the chance to feed the adults treats from the fence line. When you’re ready, head to the barn to meet our fluffy, adorable calves in the weaning field, where you can enjoy hands-on interactions—gentle petting, feeding them treats, brushing their coats, or even sharing some affectionate nose bops and cow hugs. This is your experience, so feel free to spend as much or as little time with the adults or calves as you like. You set the tone for your visit! Important Info: * You must have completed a guided tour with us in order to book this experience. * Participants should be comfortable navigating uneven terrain. * This is a self-guided tour, but we’ll provide treats for you to take along on your journey. Please note, we can’t guarantee specific interactions with the animals, as their moods may vary. * There may be other guests on-site, so we kindly ask that you be respectful of others. * Photos are welcome for personal use only; commercial use is not permitted. * Keep in mind that this is a working farm, so you may encounter loud animals, fresh manure, and natural sights. Dress accordingly! * Full terms & conditions apply—please read them before booking. * Please note, there are no public restrooms available. We can’t wait for you to come back and enjoy this unique experience with us!
What You Need To Know
1. This is our personal home / farm, and we have no public restrooms. 2. Weaning fields may be light in the summer, but we typically always have calves on the farm. 3. Please park by the black gazebo in the clearly marked parking area when you arrive. 4. We do not have public restrooms. 5. This is a self guided tour. Please grab your bucket of treats when you arrive and have fun! Remember the fencing is electric. 6. You are not permitted to go inside any fencing with the adult Highlands! You may go inside the weaning field with the calves. Please only use the gates we showed you and it's important to close them behind you *every* time! 7. In the summer early tours are best. The cows will be in the shade by 9am and will likely not come out no matter how delicious the treats look! The weaning fields may be light in the summer, so please keep this in mind. 8. The tour involves walking through hilly terrain and gravel pathways. The fencing is electric and will shock you, so be mindful of the wires. 9. On this tour, we will make every effort to make this the best experience for you by letting you feed treats to the cows, interacting with the calves, and taking all the selfies and videos your heart desires (For personal use only) 10. These are live animals and can be unpredictable at times. It is very important that every member of your party listen and follow the instructions and directions of the tour guide. If anyone is acting in a way that will create stress, harm, or concern for the animals or other members within your party, the tour guide has the right to stop the tour immediately and you will not be refunded.
