🌱 𝘽𝙞𝙜 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝘾𝙮𝙧𝙪𝙨 𝙍𝙞𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙁𝙖𝙧𝙢! 🌱
Over five years ago, we took the first baby steps into the dream of raising our family on a farm. What a journey it’s been! We've grown, learned, and had the privilege of working together as a family, all while trusting in God's plan—even when it didn’t always align with our own.
We’ve poured our hearts into this farm, working hard to create a place where our 7 kids could learn the value of family, faith, and hard work during their most formative years. God smiled on us and blessed that effort beyond our biggest dreams and anything we could have imagined. It’s been a wild ride, and we wouldn’t change a thing.
In 2024, a wonderful family approached us with interest in purchasing our farm and business. What followed was months of prayer, fasting, deep discussions, and an emotional rollercoaster that could rival any Disney ride. We spent time learning to know the new family and were most impressed by the value system and core beliefs to which they adhere. It was only after these assurances had been met that we felt comfortable moving forward. All that to say, as of Jan. 2025

The new owners bring fresh ideas, renewed passion, a commitment to the same high standards our customers have come to love, and a customer experience that will be challenging to replicate elsewhere. We believe they will take Cyrus Ridge Farm to even greater heights!
For the next several months, we (Ben & Melanie) will remain on-site, helping with the transition as they move across the country to step into this new chapter. As for now, everything in regards to tours and the sale of the Scottish Highland Cattle, will continue to operate as it has in the past offering the smoothest transition for our customers, past and future! ❤️
As we close this season of our lives, we encourage you to trust in God’s plan, dream big, and embrace the unexpected. If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that His vision is always greater than our own.

The Lord has blessed our family with this picturesque "Ridge". Cyrus is an ancient name meaning "lord". We put those two names together and that is how the name Cyrus Ridge was born! Our goal is to produce micro-miniature Scottish Highland Cattle with quality genetics and docile dispositions. We hope to give children, adults, and families the opportunity to raise animals on any size farm, so they too can experience all of the wonderful blessings a farm has to offer.
